What are the tax and shipping costs?

All holiday sale items will be subject to the 8.625% San Francisco sales tax, and items purchased online will be charged an additional $5-8.50 for flat-rate shipping (price depends on item). All Monster Drawing Rally drawings available for purchase online are 9 x 12” or smaller. Please note that we are not able to offer international shipping at this time.

Where and when is the in-person sale?

Our in-person Holiday Sale will be Thursday, December 8-Sunday, December 10, noon-7pm, at our gallery at 3030 20th St, San Francisco, CA 94110. Please note: All public areas of our 20th Street space are ADA accessible; however, as we do not have our own parking, we are unable to provide dedicated parking for people with disabilities.

 

What is the deadline to place my order online?

Our sale is open through Sunday, December 18. This will allow us to ship your purchase to you in advance of the Christmas holiday. Orders placed after that time cannot be guaranteed to arrive in December, and should not be expected until January.

 

If I order online, can I come by SoEx and pick up my order in person?

No, all online orders will be shipped to you. Please note that our in-office hours are limited. 

 

Do you offer gift wrapping?

We are not able to offer gift wrapping at this time.

 

I’d like to purchase some items for myself and some as gifts. Can I do that?

Yes! Please complete them as separate online transactions, so that we have the correct shipping addresses for all the items.

Which artists are featured from the 2022 Monster Drawing Rally?

We are thrilled that approximately 100 Bay Area artists joined us for the 2022 Monster Drawing Rally! You can view our list of participating artists here.

Are there opportunities to volunteer at the sale?

Yes! We need approximately 4 volunteers ba day to help the 2022 Holiday Sale run smoothly. Volunteers help with greeting shoppers and taking point of sale transactions. To volunteer, please click here.

Are these prints or unique works?

All the art created at the 2022 Monster Drawing Rally are unique works. If you love one, purchase it before someone else beats you to it! All works of art available for purchase via this website are 9” x 12” or smaller. 

New this year: We have a limited-edition print by artist Jeff Cheung available for purchase. This gorgeous, riso-printed poster can be yours for $25. Supplies are limited!

Are all the drawings of monsters?

The drawings are whatever the participating artists want to make! The name “Monster Drawing Rally” is really a mashup of monster truck rally energy and live drawing. 

What is the difference between a New Drawing and a Legacy Drawing?

All New Drawings will be created specifically for Southern Exposure’s 2022 Monster Drawing Rally. Legacy Drawings are overlooked treasures from prior Monster Drawing Rallies, now available at even more affordable prices.
