Combining the energy of a monster truck rally with the creativity and brilliance of the Bay Area art community, Southern Exposure’s annual Monster Drawing Rally is a can’t-miss event. The Monster Drawing Rally is an incredible afternoon of live drawing and fundraising where 100 artists work side by side, creating brand-new work right before your eyes, in a frantic race against the clock. As you spy on the creative process, you’ll see sketches morph into full-fledged artworks—immediately available for affordable prices. 

As part of our commitment to supporting artists during these difficult times, all participating artists have the option to receive up to a 50% commission of the sale, with remaining proceeds going directly to further our artistic and education programs at Southern Exposure.

A DJ will be spinning music for drawing and dancing. Food will be available for purchase, along with delicious cocktails from our neighbors at True Laurel and tasty beer from our friends at Fort Point.
